- [M]ark...................│ This is what you use to mark a file for download.
- │ You will then be prompted to enter the number of
- │ the file you wish to mark.
- ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- [R]ead...................│ This allows you to read a text file in the file
- │ list. You will be prompted to enter the name of
- │ the text file you wish to read.
- ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- [V]iew...................│ This allows you to view the contents of an archive.
- │ ZIP, RAR, LZH, and ARJ archives are supported by
- │ The DataDoor. However, the sysop of this BBS will
- │ need to have these archiver programs available on
- │ their system. You will be presented a list of the
- │ files in the archive. From there you can choose to
- │ Read or Download a file from within the archive.
- ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- [E]dit...................│ This allows you to edit the list of files you have
- │ marked for download. There may be times where you
- │ will want to remove files from the list and that's
- │ where you need to go to do it. You can also add
- │ files to the list manually if you know the full or
- │ partial file name.
- ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- [D]ownload...............│ This will take you back to the Marked Files List so
- │ you can add or remove files before you download.
- │ After you have the list edited to your likings, you
- │ will be prompted to continue with the download
- │ procedure. If you continue, you will then be asked
- │ if you wish to have the archives converted to self
- │ extractors. This just makes things easier for you
- │ after you receive the files. Then you will be asked
- │ which file transfer protocol to use. After that, the
- │ files are sent to your system.
- ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- [P]revious...............│ This lets you go backwards in the file lists. If you
- │ are in the middle of a file area with 600 files and
- │ accidentally hit enter before you completely read a
- │ file's description, simply press "P" and go back.
- ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- [C]ontinue...............│ This just does the same thing as pressing <ENTER>.
- ─────────────────────────┴─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
