Combined with /# and a limited access you can create a 'handles-only' chat accessable from the BBS next to several normal chats. ■ Changes to support new RA 2.00 - New ExitInfo.BBS structure implemented - RA22CM.EXE reads new format fileareaconfig and converts to CMFILES.CTL. Created some small submenus and changed [Q] for Quit into [L] for Leave (cause you don't quit ChatMan, but only leave the current chat). For easy of use Q is still accepted. ■ For speed purposes the CHATMAN.DAT file is now binary, no more quick & dirty ascii-editing it, but faster loading. ■ /% Parameter added. Can be used to force user into a specified chat like with /#. Difference is that with /% users will not return to the BBS when they quit, but will then get the chat- screen where they can select other chats. ■ /. Parameter added. Disables inactivity timer & timecheck. Making it possible to have a ChatMan Window all the time in order not to have to start it up everytime someone pages you. (Works in local mode only). ■ /( Parameter added. Freeze users time while in Chat Manager {Registered only} ■ /) Parameter added. Disable downloading in Chat Manager for current session ■ /? Parameter added. If ChatMan is started in pagemode (/Y, /Z) it will ask the user the reason for the Chat. This will then be displayed on his statscreen and in the statusbar. ■ Scroll-Lock ON will cause Chat Manager NOT to play the paging tune, but act further like it's being played. ■ Users that were forced into a chat are now put in it even if they don't have the approriate securitylevel ■ ESC no longer gives helpscreen but exits in main screen. Pressing ? will reveal the help-screen (chatinfo.txt). ■ CMSetup statistics overview now shows months in correct order ■ EXE files are now compressed and checked!. Supports hidden users/donotdisturb. - [Networks only] Added TSR program to detect a user that is paging the sysop on another terminal, check SYSOPTSR.COM - [Remote Access only] Now writes userdoes.xxx file in semaphore directory so other users will see the user is in Chat Manager. Also exits if RAXITn.e is detected in the semaphore directory. Also FILES.CTL and LIMITS.CTL are used for downloads. - Users can now select help in the startup-screen using ESC. This one is in CM_MAXIM.ARJ - Text can now be saved as a message into your messagebase currently only the hudson message base is supported (I'm working on squish) - ChatInfo.TXT is now displayed if a user selects info from the main screen. Edit it and place it in the ChatMan directory. - ALT-J for (sysop) Jump to DOS, at the moment no swap to disk/ems is done so you migth not get so much memory Swapping will probably be present in the next version. - Configurable subject added for chats that users forget to give a subject - Typing in someone's window now put's you on a new line automatically - Paging hours are now specified on a per day basis, allowing them to differ for each day of the week - Screen output goes now straight to desqview's screen buffers (if detected) - Random tune is now selected each time a user pages instead of only at startup.
