  7. NOTE: THIS SETUP FILE IS ONLY FOR THE *OS/2* VERSION OF MAINDOOR

  9. Please make sure the following two items are true before proceeding...
  10. (1) Your modem is NOT set to "Auto Answer" mode (REGISTER S0 MUST EQUAL 0)
  11. (2) You have already put all relevant DATA commands for the BBS into NVRAM
  12.  
  13. Note that, generally, fax (AT+F) commands CANNOT be stored in NVRAM.

  15. Here is the relevant information from MDSETUP ...

  18.   Init string #1 ........... ATZ|~AT+FCLASS=2{.0|
  19.   Init string #2 ........... AT+FNR=1,1,1,1|
  20.   Init string #3 ........... AT+FLI="713 555 1212"|
  21.   Force answer string #1 ... AT+FAA=1;A|
  22.   *** Force answer #2 and #3 should be empty ***
  23.   Dial prefix .............. AT+FCLASS=0DT
  24.  
  25. : atz                      automatically recalls data commands in NVRAM
  26. : +fclass=2.0              enables fax mode--MainDoor escapes "{." to be "."
  27. : +fnr=1,1,1,1             sets your FAX ID, up to 20 characters
  28. : +fli="713 555 1212"      tells modem to let BGFAX know connect speed
  29. : +fclass=0dt              enables data mode operation on outgoing calls
  30. :
  31. : The "at+faa=1;a" causes the modem to answer adaptively, i.e., to auto-
  32. : matically determine whether the incoming call is fax or data and return
  33. : the response to the modem.

  35. P.S... USR's FAX/ARQ light WILL flash when waiting for calls!
