  3. Q-Seven is a rendition of the famous
  4. game Over and Under (also known as
  5. Under and Over).  Players bet their
  6. coins on either under seven, over
  7. seven or seven exactly.  The dice are
  8. then thrown (2 of them) and the total
  9. of the two is what determines how the
  10. player did.

  13. The payoffs for Under or Over are 1 to
  14. 1 or "Even".  Payoffs for matching
  15. Seven exactly are 4 for 1.  4 FOR 1
  16. means that the bank takes the original
  17. bet and pays back 4 coins for each that
  18. was wagered.  So, in odds terms this
  19. comes out to a payout of 3 to 1.

  27. On the left side of the screen you will
  28. see some window fields.  They are: Your
  29. Bet, Your Time, Your Coins, Coin Value,
  30. Max Turns, and Your Turns.

  37. YOUR BET:  This field reflects how much
  38. you are wagering.  When you place a bet
  39. the money you wager is immediately
  40. subtracted from YOUR COINS and YOUR
  41. TIME is updated accordingly.  If you
  42. win, you will get paid off at 1 to 1
  43. or 4 FOR 1 depending on how you bet.
  44. If you lose you will simply lose the
  45. coins/time already subtracted from
  46. the fields shown on your screen.

  49. YOUR TIME: This is how many minutes you
  50. have on your account.  This does NOT
  51. include the time you've spent actually
  52. playing the game (which is also
  53. subtracted from your time remaining
  54. when you leave the game).  This just
  55. gives you an idea of how many minutes
  56. you have won or lost.  When you exit
  57. the game, time spent playing is
  58. subtracted from YOUR TIME and returned
  59. to the BBS.

  61. YOUR COINS: This is how many coins you
  62. have remaining.  Each coin has a value
  63. indicated by the COIN VALUE window
  64. field.  This should also explain the
  65. meaning of the COIN VALUE window field.

  73. MAX TURNS: This is how many turns a
  74. player may take per day.  This is
  75. defined by the BBS Sysop and can be a
  76. value from 1 to 1000.

  86. the day.  Each time you take a turn,
  87. the value in this field will increase
