  57. INSTALLATION OF THE DOOR:
  58. -------------------------

  60.      USING THE INSTALL PROGRAM:
  61.      --------------------------

  63.      Use the utility program to configure the configuration file to meet
  64.      your specifications by typing UTILITY INSTALL.
  65.  
  66.      Line 1 - Full Path to the BBS Default Directory (where DOOR.SYS is)
  67.      Line 2 - Name of the BBS
  68.      Line 3 - IRQ for this Port. If running COM ports other than 1 or 2
  69.               this must be the IRQ that will be used for that Port. If
  70.               running on COM 1 or COM 2 or using a DigiBoard, this can
  71.               be set to 0.
  72.      Line 4 - Base Address for this Port (In Hex). If running ports other
  73.               than 1 or 2 this must be the Base Address that will be used
  74.               for that Port. If running on COM 1 or COM 2 or using a
  75.               DigiBoard, this can be set to 0.
  76.      Line 5 - The COM Port Interface to use:
  77.               STANDARD    = Regular Communications Port Interface. This
  78.                             is what you would normally use.
  79.               DIGIBOARD   = Direct DigiBoard Programming Interface. Must
  80.                             be used in conjunction with a program called
  81.                             RESETDIG.EXE. If you don't have this program
  82.                             but have a DigiBoard, then use the following
  83.                             option.
  84.               INT14/EBIOS = Indirect DigiBoard Support via a Device Driver.
  85.                             All Communications to the DigiBoard (or any
  86.                             board that supports INT14/EBIOS) are performed
  87.                             via a Software Interrupt that the Device Driver
  88.                             handles.
  89.               FOSSIL      = If you use a fossil device
  90.      Line 6 - If using a DigiBoard, this is the Memory Window, or the
  91.               address the card uses as a communications area between
  92.               the card and the Host Computer. Only needed if using
  93.               an Interface set to DIGIBOARD. If using STANDARD or
  94.               INT14/EBIOS, can be set to 0.
  95.      Line 7 - If using a DigiBoard, this is the I/O Port address that
  96.               the Board is attached to. Only needed if using an
  97.               Interface set to DIGIBOARD. If using STANDARD or
  98.               INT14/EBIOS, can be set to 0.
  99.      Line 8 - If using a DigiBoard, this is the Channel Number for
  100.               this port on the Digi. This is REQUIRED for DIGIBOARD
  101.               and INT14/EBIOS Interfaces. This is 1 - 8 for the
  102.               DIGIBOARD Interface and usually 4 - 11 for the INT14/EBIOS
  103.               Interface. This number tells the program which of the
  104.               Com Ports on the DigiBoard it should use.

  147.           file in the QuickBBS directory, using "*C /C 4LEAF.BAT" in

  169.         maintenance program to keep the player.dat file clean.  By
  170.         passing a nuber value from 7-30 you can specify how many days
  171.         you will allow a user to stay in the door before being deleted.

  174.                                   deleted for non-use

  179.         This file can be ran each time the door is exited or in a
  180.         nightly batch file.  It will make a ANSI and a ASCII Bulletin
  181.         from the information you specify in your installation module.

  188.          meet your needs.

  193.          Well this is a rather simple task.  When you run the install
  194.          program you can pick upto 4 different configuration files.
  195.          To run this door as a multi door all you need to do is place
  196.          the following statement:

  198.                 4LEAF 4LEAF01.CNF

  200.              And so on for the rest of the configuration files.  The
  201.              reason for this is so you may specify the different
  202.              LOCKBAUD rates for each node.  The idea of the 01 would be
  203.              to specify NODE 1.  You can have more then the 4 confige
  204.              files, I just choose four since most BBS don't seem to have
  205.              more than 3 or 4 nodes.  If you have more than nine nodes
  206.              all you have to do is replace the 0 with the appropiate
  207.              digit. For example 4LEAF10.CNF or 4LEAF33.CNF....
