Read will allow you to read messages on the BBS in the range you specify. Read will work from both the main menu or from within a base. Ranged.
From main menu:
RA will Read ALL new messages on ALL bases. R# will read the new messages on the base (or bases) you specify. R1,4,6 will read the new messages on bases 1, 4, and 6.
RS will read new messages on the bases you have selected. (See the Base Selection option in BASES help.)
R[name] will read new messages on the base with the chosen name in the title, or the range of bases with that name in the section header. (Note: The section header is only visable when you list the bases.) EX: rSYS will read the first base that contains "SYS" in its name, or the range of bases under the section heading that contains "SYS" in its title.
From a base:
R* will read all new messages on that base.
R# will read a specific message.
R(RANGE) will read a range of messages. (Ex. R1-9,30 = messages 1 through 9, then 30.)
