The help utility allows users to learn how to operate this system. Typing "H" from main menu places you in the help subsystem. Typing "H" from almost ANY other place in the board will give you help on the option that you are currently using.
For a general introduction to this program, select the general help file (GENERAL at the help prompt)
For other help: at the help:> prompt, just type in the option you wish to read about. Help files are available with a pattern match. For example, if you have the following help files: SYSOP, SYSTEM and READ, "S", "SY", "SYS", "SYSO", "SYSOP" will ALL find the SYSOP help file. "SYST" will find system. In other words, you need a signficant character string (starting from the beginning of the name) or you will be given the first help file in alphabetical order according to the character string you asked for.
