  18.         These instructions tell you how you should setup your user
  19.         account on a Maximus system in order to use 1stReader.
  20.  
  21.         The 1stReader Maximus script has been tested with Maximus release
  22.         3.50.  Make sure that you do not have HOTKEYS turned on in your
  23.         Maximus user profile.  This script assumes that hotkeys have been
  24.         turned OFF.

  26.         Before you can begin using 1stReader with Maximus you need to
  27.         call the BBS and setup your offline configuration.  Make sure
  28.         that you setup the compression method (or archiver) to PKZIP
  29.         and that the file transfer protocol selected is ZMODEM.  Also,
  30.         you will need to select the conferences you wish to scan.

  32.         You can call this BBS by selecting the 'CALL' button from the
  33.         'Mail packets' screen.

  35.         After you have setup your system configuration for the Maximus
  36.         system 1stReader is ready to operate.
