Transcription: The surface of the planet is covered by a vast expanse of water called the World Ocean. There are four regional oceans, the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Indian and the Arctic. There are also many seas, which are local smaller portions of the World Ocean. Seas, bays and gulfs are more numerous in regions where the littoral is jagged, as in Europe and Asia. Then around Africa and South America, where coasts are more solid.
