- These are the color palettes used by DOOM.

- Use them to quantise your pictures, before you feed them to DeuTex:
- If you don't quantise the colors, DeuTex will, but it's a bit slow
- at the moment, and you may not like the lack of any dithering

- If you want to make a bitmap (.BMP) for DeuTex, then use:
- PAINT SHOP PRO shareware V2
- 1/ load bitmap file
- 2/ menu color, select: load palette
- select file doompal.pal
- 3/ save bitmap file

- If you want to make a .PBM (portable bitmap), use ppmquant on your
- picture, with doompal.ppm as the reference for colors.
