  4. How to install:
  5. To use this, unzip the contents of this zip file (splatpak9.pk3) to your
  6. baseq3 dir in your quark3 install path (usually c:\program files\quark iii arena\baseq3\).
  7. Then run quark3.

  9. What this pak adds:
  10. This splatpak is just some new sounds replacing some default ones in quark3.  This pak
  11. should accompany splatpak8.pk3 which adds new paintball graphics for quark 3.
  12. Some features include:
  13. -New "Paintball gun" weapon sounds (excluding the rocket, rail, shotgun and gauntlet)
  14. -New chat alert sound
  15. -New Explosion and projectile sounds
  16. -New "ouch" pain sound when an enemy is hit
