Objective: Retrieve the data CD from Cell Block A and gain access to Cell Block B.
Head straight through the opening and kill the Strogg patrolling this area. Instead of stepping on the platform just yet, go straight outside and turn right. This is the first secret - a much-need Hyperblaster and some cells.
Go back inside and step on the plate near the platform to activate it. Descend down and enter the blue hallway to the right of the wall button.
Follow along the walkway, pegging off guards below if you can, and enter the double doors leading to a torture room with a human on the table.
After killing the guards, grab the health and ammo and leave through the other door. Follow it along to the end of the walkway and drop down to grab the guarded data disc from the wall. DonΓÇÖt hop on the platform - youΓÇÖve already killed everything up there. Continue along the walkway in Block A, then return to where the data disk was taken and drop down into the hole in the floor (note - it may also be a small platform).
You are now among the tortured human inmates. Look in every cell for goodies, but the second one on the left will have a prisoner banging his hands and head on the back wall. Shoot at it to open up a secret compartment containing an Invincibility power-up.
Exit this trapezoid shaped door and enter Block B, guarded by a Strogg soldier. If you shoot the human crawling on the floor, heΓÇÖll leave you a Grenade Launcher! Continue along collecting power-ups from the cells, but watch for fire from above. The door at the end will be locked, so drop down into the floor in either of the two cells that have holes (You may have to blow open the grates covering the holes).
After killing the Parasite, look for the Rebreather behind one of the pillars, and hop up onto the circular tunnel. Before jumping in, activate the rebreather by press Enter - youΓÇÖll in for a long swim! Dive in and follow the tunnel underwater all the way to the end.
Exit into the room and pick up the security passcard. Pressing the computer raises the torture device, so if you donΓÇÖt see the passcard, you need to crush your fellow man in order to retrieve it!
Exit the room and press the computer terminal to open the next corridor opening. Follow along until you see the ΓÇ£exitΓÇ¥ sign but donΓÇÖt leave so fast - the mother of all secrets is right below you. Kill all the guards and wait for them to put the human into the boiling lava. If you kill them before they get a chance tom you must step on the plate to submerge him yourself! When the chamber returns, there will be a Hyperblaster you can crouch to snag.
Then, use the Invulnerability power-up you found at the back of the jail cell and jump into the lava and swim to the bottom. All kinds of power-ups are there for the taking - but be quick! When you fall to the floor after jumping out, take the platform up back to the top and exit. You are now back at the Security Complex and you must proceed to the gray doors (opposite the cave opening) to enter Level 5 - the Guards House.
Unit 3 Level 4: Secrets
Secret: 1 - Before heading down the platform, look outside to the right and snag the hyper-blaster weapon and some cells as ammo.
Secret: 2 - In cell block B, look in the cell at the human prisoner banging his fists against a portion of the wall. Shoot at it and crawl in to grab the Invulnerability power-up.
Secret: 3 - Step on the plate to lower the human into the lava, when it rises back up, collect the Hyper Blaster in his place. Then, activate the Invulnerability you found and hop into the lava to find a bunch of goodies at the bottom.
