Walk into the room overlooking the Strogg bio-assimilation machine and kill all the life-sucking Parasites and guards from your elevated perspective. Hop down but be prepared for black guards to break out from under the walkway. Collect any armor or ammo in this room, then enter the center of the bio-assimilation machine to shut it down.
