  7. WinZip 6.3 features an updated zip/unzip engine with automatic built-in
  8. disk spanning support for multi-disk Zip files.  If you create a zip
  9. file on diskettes and the first diskette fills, then disk spanning is
  10. automatically activated, and you are simply prompted to put in a new
  11. diskette to continue the archive.  There is no need to specify that you
  12. want to span before you start.

  14. ** Internet Browser Support Add-On **

  16. WinZip includes an interface to the free Internet Browser Support
  17. Add-On, which allows users to download and open archives from the
  18. Internet with one click via Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Netscape
  19. Navigator.  There is no need to "Save to disk" and then switch to WinZip
  20. or to the Windows Explorer or File Manager to open the downloaded file.
  21. In addition, all files that have been downloaded are automatically
  22. copied from the Internet Browser's temporary folders to a folder of the
  23. user's choice; this ensures that a permanent copy of the download is
  24. saved on the user's system, even if the downloaded file is automatically
  25. deleted by the browser.
