- Ada USAGE SUMMARY REPORT
-
- In order to increase public awareness of how government, industry, and
- academia are using Ada in their software-development efforts, the Ada Joint
- Program Office (AJPO) conducts a continuing survey of projects written
- completely or partially in Ada. Information received is maintained in the Ada
- Usage Database.
-
- Data is submitted on a voluntary basis, and distributed through the Ada
- Information Clearinghouse (AdaIC).
-
- The information below is a summary list of the projects currently in the
- database. More complete information on particular projects (such as lessons
- learned, training required, etc.) may be obtained by contacting the AdaIC.
-
- (In order not to discourage participation, some information submitted -- such
- as project contact names -- is released only upon specific request and after
- receiving permission from the project.)
-
- Because data is volunteered from a variety of sources, and because the expense
- of continual verification and update would be prohibitive, the AJPO cannot
- guarantee the accuracy of information in this database.
-
- The AJPO is always seeking to increase the coverage of this database. If you
- would like to submit information about an Ada project, please ask for the Ada
- Usage Survey form. It can be obtained from the AdaIC as flyer G29.
-
- At present, there are 722 projects described in the Ada Usage Database.
- Projects are reported from the following sources:
-
- Academia 4
- Air Force 151
- Army 62
- Commercial 111
- Govt. Non-DoD 58
- International 68
- Marine Corps 41
