  32. PhotoGIF Filter - is a version of PhotoGIF implemented as a filter
  33. plug-in to work with 3rd party applications. PhotoGIF Filter is based on
  34. a sub-set of the features found in PhotoGIF 3 and identical in all
  35. single image aspects. It doesn't have the ability to open files or edit
  36. GIF animations, though. PhotoGIF Filter is compatible with all
  37. applications that properly support Photoshop 2.5 or greater filter

  40. ImageVice - is an Editor's Choice award winning filter that performs
  41. color reduction using a highly advanced and proprietary method that can
  42. result in significantly smaller BMP, GIF, PCX, PICT, PNG, and even PSD
  43. format images. ImageVice is a true filter and is not format specific.
  44. IE. it doesn't do any saving files, it just changes the image data so it
  45. will compress much more efficiently. ImageVice is a great companion tool
  46. to PhotoGIF, but not a replacement for PhotoGIF, as often gets asked.
  47. PhotoGIF is the general purpose GIF tool. ImageVice is a specialty tool
  48. that can help you get even better results, but you still need PhotoGIF.

  52. Web-safe palette, extending it to a nearly limitless color range. 216
