  4. This is an example of using
  5. the new scrolling text
  6. feature of SuperShow IV.
  7.  
  8. The Scroll script command
  9. access's an external ASCII
  10. text file and displays it
  11. in a text box.
  12.  
  13. This example is using the
  14. text file named SCROLL.TXT
  15. which was included as part
  16. of your distribution disk.
  17.  
  18. You choose the font and
  19. colors; set the parameters
  20. for the width and depth of
  21. the text box and then your
  22. user may scroll through the
  23. text file using the Arrow,
  24. Pg, and Home keys.
  25.  
  26. There is no limit to the
  27. size of the external ASCII
  28. text file being accessed.
  29.  
  30. The text box stays active
  31. until you press the Esc or
  32. spacebar keys.  When
  33. either of those keys are
  34. pressed, the next script
  35. command is executed.
  36.  
  37. While you may use any
  38. custom or ROM font, the
  39. best results occur when
  40. using a proportionately
  41. spaced font such as your
  42. built in ROM fonts.
