  1. This release is mainly focussed on cdda2wav. Cdda2wav will be included
  2. in the cdrecord/mkisofs package in future. Heiko and I decided to call 
  3. this bundle 'cdrtools'.

  5. NEW features of cdrecord-1.8a10:
  6.  
  7. -    Fixed a typo in the cdrecord man page, that was confusing for
  8.     FreeBSD users.
  9.  
  10. -    Starting with official support for SCO Openserver 5
  11.  
  12.         NOTE: You will need to have a CD in the closed tray of the 
  13.         drive otherwise cdrecord is not able to open the device.
  14.  
  15. -    Fixed the low level error handling code for SCO Openserver.
  16.  
  17. -    Fixed some type clobberings in mkisofs
  18.  
  19. -    Added makefiles for the mkisofs diagnostic programs.

  21. -    Fixed some type clobberings in mkisofs diagnostic programs.
  22.     NOTE: dump renamed to 'devdump' to avoid overwriting of the 
  23.     dump utility.

  25. -    Incorporating now an experimental version of cdda2wav-0.95beta08

  42. NOTE:    These tar archives are 100% ansi compatible. Solaris 2.x tar and GNU
  43.     tar may get some minor trouble.

  45. WARNING: Do not use 'mc' to extract the tar file!
  46.     All mc versions before 4.0.14 cannot extract symbolic links correctly.
