DiskSpeed32.EXE is 32-bits multithread programs for measuring hard disk sectors reading speed. The program include two separate function for Windows 95/98 and Windows NT. The function for Windows 95 use method describe in Microsoft the document Q137176.TXT, and require two DLL: Disk32.DLL and Disk16.DLL. The check box "Set highest priority" set maximum priority of reading thread for reading time, check box "No buffering{NT only}" open device file with established flag FILE_FLAG_NO_BUFFERING (only under Windows NT).
Take into account, that the DiskSpeed32.EXE is experimental research program and may be does not look well (-:.
I recommend you close all program before start and don't start anything during test time.
Under Windows NT you must be "Administrator" for testing hard disks.
