  1. FtpServer         (Peter Moylan's FTP daemon)

  6. This is shareware, but I'm not enforcing payment.  (For more
  7. details, read FtpServer.INF.)  The software is not crippled
  8. in any way.
  9.  
  10. Note that this version is significantly different from version
  11. 0.70, in that symbolic links are implemented.  You will see
  12. the difference when running the Setup program.

  15. QUICK INSTALLATION
  16.  1. Unzip the distribution file into a directory of your choice,
  17.     for example D:\Apps\FtpServer.  If you're upgrading from a
  18.     previous version, you should normally unzip into the directory
  19.     you were already using to hold FtpServer - that way the new
  20.     version will continue to use the existing INI file settings.
  21.  
  22.  2. If you're upgrading from version 0.52 or earlier, execute
  23.     the command
  24.             LOADPRM *
  25.     to copy your existing *.prm files to the server's INI file.
  26.     (This is not needed if you're using a version later than 0.52,
  27.     or if this is the first time you have installed FtpServer.)
  28.  
  29.  3. If you're upgrading from version 0.70 or earlier, you need
  30.     to convert some of the INI file data to the new format.
  31.     The easiest way to do this is with the sequence of commands
  32.             STOREPRM *
  33.             LOADPRM *
  34.     (See the manual for other possibilities.)
  35.  
  36.  4. Optional: to create an FtpServer folder on your desktop,
  37.     run FOLDER.CMD.
  38.  
  39.  5. Read the INF file.
