  1. The install script will install over an existing program
  2. object, so you do not need to delete an existing version
  3. to install a new version.

  5. If you choose to preserve your existing version, by installing
  6. the new version in a new directory, you should rename the
  7. existing desktop object. The install script will replace any
  8. program object named "PMStripper".

  10. The install scripts only copy PMSTRIP.EXE to the destination
  11. directory and create the desktop object, they do not copy any
  12. of the other files to the destination directory.

  14. PMStripper is coded to use either code page 850 or 437 and has
  15. only been tested on those code pages.  If another code page is
  16. active, the default is to use the values for code page 437.
