  10. LICENSE

  13. First of all, PmNotes is not free software. It is distributed as shareware.
  14.  
  15. As a nonregistered user you are granted a limited licence to use PmNotes on
  16. a 30 day trial basis to determine whether or not PmNotes is the program you're
  17. looking for. Use of PmNotes after this period requires registration.
  18.  
  19. Registration grants you the right to use PmNotes on one computer. You may use
  20. it on more than one computer, but not at the same time.
  21. Furthermore, registration enables you to:
  22.  
  23. - Use more than a maximum of 5 notes (up to 200)
  24.  
  25. - Configure the system wide hotkeys
  26.  
  27. - Give your notes a more 3D-ish look
  28.

  30. It is not allowed to modify PmNotes in any way. This includes any possible way
  31. of reverse engineering the executable code. The PmNotes distribution archive
  32. may be altered to add additional files (e.g. BBS info or translations of
  33. documentation) provided all PmNotes files are kept in the archive in their
  34. original state.

  36. Subject to the above, PmNotes may be freely redistributed to others for trial
  37. use of the program, taking in account the following terms:

  39. - No money may be charged, except for a very small fee to cover distribution
  40.   expenses (like e.g. disks or CD-ROMs).

  42. - PmNotes may not be redistributed in conjunction with any kind of software or
  43.   hardware without the authors written permission.

  46. PmNotes comes without any kind of warranty. The only thing guaranteed is
  47. that the program uses harddisk space, RAM and CPU-time.
  48. The author assumes no responsibility for any damage or loss of data arising
  49. from the use or inability to use this program.

  58. PmNotes costs $13 (US) or HFL 25. You can register either direct with the
  59. author or through BMT Micro.
