  15.   Dear ALLFIX user,

  17.   We are pleased to bring you the new ALLFIX 5.11 release!
  18.  
  19.   This version, which is an update of our previous release, 5.10, only
  20.   contains bug fixes! This means that many of the problems that you have
  21.   reported have been solved in this version and that we did not build in
  22.   any new features! This means that this version of ALLFIX is very
  23.   reliable and stable!

  25.   Incase you haven't already done so, please take a moment and check out
  26.   our web site. We will try to keep you up to date with all of the changes
  27.   taking place, via the web site. You can find us at:

  31.   If you are upgrading from a version prior to 5.0, then please
  32.   run through the following steps to upgrade your configuration. If you are
  33.   upgrading from 5.0, then you only need to run through steps 7 and 8.
  34.   Those of you who are upgrading from 5.10, need do nothing.
  35.  
  36.           1. run UPDATE to update your Magicfile names and your Hatch
  37.              configuration.
  38.           2. delete your AREAS.FIX and .IDX file.
  39.           3. delete your NEWFILES.FIX and .IDX file.
  40.  
  41.              * note: These two files need to be deleted since the
  42.                      configuration for the FileFind and the BBS new file
  43.                      dirs setup has changed dramatically. Reconfiguring
  44.                      your areas will be very easy!
  45.  
  46.           4. delete your ALLFIX.DAT file.
  47.  
  48.              * note: There is a freeware program available on our website
  49.                      which can be used to convert your ALLFIX.DAT file to
  50.                      the new format. The name of the file is AFDATCVT.ZIP
  51.  
  52.           5. run ASETUP Index
  53.           6. run FCOMP
  54.           7. run UPDINT. This program will update your internet spoll
  55.              files to the new format.
  56.           8. make sure to replace your old keyfile(s) with the new
  57.              keyfile, included in the release.

  60.   And, last but not least, I want to remind you to make a backup of your
  61.   files before you begin installing this version.
