  3.      Welcome to the release of AMU 3.10!

  5.      AMU 3.10 is distributed in three files: AMU310D.ZIP which contains
  6.      the 16bit DOS and 32bit DPMI version, AMU310P.ZIP which contains the
  7.      32bit OS/2 version, and AMU310W.ZIP which contains the 32bit 
  8.      WindowsNT/95 version.

  10.      This is a major upgrade and is not a drop-in replacement.  To upgrade
  11.      from a previous version of AMU, read the UPGRADE.DOC file as soon as you
  12.      have installed AMU.  If you are a registered user and are still using
  13.      AMU 2.01 or earlier, you will need a new keyfile which is free of 
  14.      charge.  Decompress the REGISTER.ZIP file and follow the instructions in
  15.      the UPGRADE.FRM file.  Note: If you already received an updated key
  16.      for 3.00/Gamma, you do *not* need another key.

  18.      To install AMU, simply run the INSTALL.EXE program from the DOS package,
  19.      INSTALL2.EXE from the OS/2 package, or INSTALLW.EXE from the Windows
  20.      package.  This will unpack the necessary files to your hard drive.  This
  21.      archive was compressed using Pkzip 2.04g with AV verification.  After you
  22.      unzipped this package, you should have seen:

  27.      If you do not see this, the files may have been damaged or tampered
  28.      with, and you should pick up a new copy from my system.  I am in the
  29.      FidoNet nodelist as 1:261/1108, and my BBS number is 1-410-974-9305.
  30.      Again, this is a major upgrade and represents many months of very hard
  31.      work by myself and the Beta team.  Please take the time to read the 
  32.      WHATSNEW.310 file if you are upgrading from a previous version, or to
  33.      read the documentation if you are a new AMU user.  If you like AMU, 
  34.      please register to show your support for the shareware concept and to
  35.      ensure further development of AMU.
