  13. Waste for Windows looks best on resolutions of at
  14. least 800x600 using Windows' "small fonts." 
  15.  
  16. At 640x480 you'll need to scroll to see the full 
  17. display. And if you are using "large fonts" then 
  18. it may look strange.

  20. To install, unzip the zipped file to some temp 
  21. directory (or a floppy). Then, double-click on 
  22. SETUP.EXE (or select it from the Program Manager's 
  23. File|Run menu). If it comes already unzipped,
  24. then just double-click SETUP.EXE.

  26. This version is a 32 bit application that only runs
  27. under Windows 95 or Windows NT. However, it is only
  28. really useful if your disks are using the standard
  29. FAT-based file system. If you are using HPFS, or FAT32
  30. then Waste for Windows will not really provide you with
  31. terribly useful information.

  33. There is nothing unusual in the setup for Waste for Windows 95.

  35. It DOES NOT modify any of your system files. It doesn't 
  36. touch any of your INI files, or your AUTOEXEC.BAT, or 
  37. your CONFIG.SYS file.  All the setup program does is copy 
  38. a few of files to the directory you specify to hold 
  39. WASTE, and one to your \windows\system directory, if they
  40. aren't already there.

  50. could recover HUNDREDS of megabytes of space for you.
