  5. This file includes tips and information to help you get the most 
  6. out of the package, a listing of some known problems, and last-minute 
  7. corrections that did not make it into the manual. We recommend 
  8. that you print this file and keep it with your printed documentation 
  9. for future reference.

  22. New! Update-It - Updates to the latest version of CleanSweep 3 and the 
  23. latest Application Knowledge Base automatically over the Internet.

  25. New! Safety Sweep - Automatically adds an extra level of safety to any 
  26. file or application cleanup operation.

  28. Improved! Application Knowledge Base - Contains entries for over 1,000 
  29. applications ensures safe removal of programs already on the system.

  46. Known Issues with CleanSweep 3.0 
  47. =======================================
  48.  
  49. - We do not recommend removing the Microsoft Plus! Pack with CleanSweep. 
  50.  
  51. - HPFS (IBM's High Performance File System available on Windows NT) is 
  52. no longer supported in CleanSweep 3.0.
  53.  
  54. - For Windows NT 3.51 users: installing any Service Pack after installing
  55. CleanSweep will install an older version of IMAGEHLP.DLL. This will cause
  56. errors in CleanSweep. Quarterdeck advises against installing Service Packs
  57. after CleanSweep has been installed. 
  58.  
  59. - Dr.Watson for Windows NT 3.51 is incompatible with CleanSweep 3.0. Contact
  60. Microsoft for more information.
  61.  
  62. - Smart Sweep and Usage Watch do not function on SMP (multi-processor) machines on 
  63. Windows NT.
  64.  
  65. - To remove Smart Sweep and Usage Watch under Windows NT 3.51, we recommend
  66. deleting the icons directly from the Startup Group. This is due to a problem
  67. with Microsoft's DDE on Windows NT 3.51.
  68.  
  69. - If after installing CleanSweep 3.0 over a previous version of CleanSweep, you
  70. receive "incorrect VXD version" errors, you need to reboot your system. The previous 
  71. version VXDs are still in memory and must be removed by rebooting.
  72.  
  73. - On Windows NT, Smart Sweep may ask you if you would like to monitor
  74. an install more than once. This is because CleanSweep must monitor 
  75. 16- and 32- bit modules separately, and some application install 
  76. programs use both 16- and 32- bit components.
  77.  
  78. - The Applications View in Registry Genie is predictive by nature. It 
  79. may not list all applications you have installed and it may list 
  80. a few that you don't have installed. This is because of the fact that
  81. some applications share Registry keys.
