  5.   This readme file contains the latest information available for PM Chkdsk
  6.   Log Formatter (hereafter called PMCHKLOG).  PMCHKLOG is packaged with three
  7.   messages files, MESSAGE.TXT, RANGE.TXT and MSGHDR.TXT.  These message files
  8.   should not be altered to insure the parser knows has the correct format.
  9.   New releases may just contain these message files.

  11.   PMCHKLOG takes the file created by CHKDSK.COM as input, usually CHKDSK.LOG
  12.   in the root directory of each HPFS drive.  PMCHKLOG will format the file
  13.   using text messages to make them more easily understood by support.

  15.   CHKLOG is a non-PM version of PMCHKLOG.  This can be run by typing CHKLOG
  16.   /I:chkdsk.log /O:outputfile /S:sort (where sort is 1 for sorting by message
  17.   number or 0 for sorting by message entry).
