  1. Welcome to NCSA Mosaic for OS/2 !

  3. To make this program running you need OS/2, the emx runtime environment and xfree86 for
  4. OS/2
  5.  
  6. This is version 2.7b5 of Mosaic, the latest beta version and has been compiled with
  7. lesstif 0.77, which you nned (at least) to run the program.
  8.  
  9. Both together is not too stable, but I think this is not a port-specific problem, but
  10. a problem with mosaic itself and lesstif. So don't wonder, if the program
  11. disappears, when trying to load complex pages.
  12.  
  13. If you hace a Unix-like shell (like sh.exe from pdksh.zip on leo), you should
  14. set the environment variable comspec to this shell before starting mosaic, it
  15. needs a Unix shell to start other processes like helper apps.
