  13. ========================= INSTALLING SMALLED =============================
  14.  
  15. Smalled is mainly 2 files. You can copy the SMALLED.EXE file to any place
  16. you like and start it from there. You can also set the association in the
  17. settings folder to plain text or other types you may have. Smalled will
  18. automaticly start if such an object is selected. For more information
  19. about assocation see the OS/2 help.

  21. If you'd like more instances of Smalled active at the same moment (d&d can
  22. be used between them), see "Use multiple Smalled instances" in the "How do
  23. I ..." section of the Smalled help.

  25. The .hlp file must be in OS/2 help directory so that it can be found by
  26. all Smalled instances. If it's only placed in the current directory not
  27. all instances will be able to find the helpfile. If you used Smalled
  28. before, don't forget to replace the 1.40 help file with the help file in
  29. this package.

  31. There are two versions included. An exe for OS/2 2.xx and a smaller exe
  32. file for WARP. The os2_2xx.zip contains the smalled.exe for OS/2 2.xx and
  33. the warp.zip contains the Smalled.exe for warp.

  35. Also included is a program called register.exe and its help register.hlp.
  36. Copy register.hlp to the os/2 help directory. If you want to register, you
  37. can run the register.exe program from anywhere in the system. (See also
  38. obtaining a registration key at the end of this file)

  40. NOTE: SINCE A LOT IS CHANGED IN 1.45 IT IS RECOMMENDED TO SET ALL THE
  41. PREFERENCES THE FIRST TIME VERSION 1.45 IS STARTED!!!!

  78.   included in this package. If you don't like this version of Smalled and
  79.   it won't save anymore after 40 days, A NEW TRIAL PERIOD IS GRANTED with
  80.   each release, so you may try again! (See registering at the end of this
  81.   file)

  83.   of the fixes and new items are the result of users requests.

  118. ================ OBTAINING A REGISTRATION KEY ===========================
  119.  
  120. After 40 days Smalled will shut down the save and print functions. To
  121. unlock it you need to run register.exe This program will generate a
  122. personal  key. Include this key if you register Smalled. (See order.sme).
  123. You will recieve  a registration-key. With this key Smalled will unlock.
  124. This also permits you to  use future 1.xx versions. Future versions will
  125. see that you're registered and won't  lockup. More help on this issue is
  126. included in the help attached to register.exe.

  128. To obtain a registration key send the personal key along with the
  129. registration form. There is an order form included in the package. You
  130. can also use the Purchase program to create an order form or to order a
  131. registration key online.

  133. WARNING: Resetting the date may cause Smalled to lock up before your trial
  134. period is over!
