  4. From the installation window you can install, upgrade and remove FTP Browser. 
  5. Select from the following list for a detailed description of the procedure:

  7.      Installing 
  8.      Upgrading 
  9.      Removing 
  10.  
  11.  The install directory specifies where FTP Browser will be installed. 
  12.  
  13.  The installation status window reveals whether the install procedure completed 
  14.  successfully or failed.

  16.  Note:  Make sure your system meets the system requirements before attempting 
  17.  to install.

  20. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. System requirements ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
  21.  
  22. Your system must meet the following minimal requirements in order to install 
  23. and use FTP Browser: 
  24.  
  25.      OS/2 Warp version 3 or 4 
  26.  
  27.            Presentation Manager 
  28.            TCP/IP 
  29.  
  30.      2 Mb free disk space 
  31.  
  32.  
  33. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Install ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  35. Enter the directory name where you would like FTP Browser installed. To start 
  36. the installation procedure, select install. The application's files will be 
  37. copied to the directory you specified and a folder will be created that 
  38. contains the program and manual objects. After installation check the 
  39. installation status window for any errors.

  41. To start FTP Browser simply open the folder that was created and click the 
  42. FTPBrowser object. Help may be obtained through the application's menu, 
  43. pressing F1 or clicking the Manual object in the folder.

  46. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 4. Upgrade ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  48. To upgrade FTP Browser simply press the install button. When the upgrade is 
  49. complete, check the installation status window for any errors.

  52. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 5. Remove ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  54. Simply select the remove button when you are ready to remove the program. 
  55. Removing FTP Browser will delete the application files from your hard drive, 
  56. remove application profile entries from the system files and delete the 
  57. application's objects from your desktop.

  60. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 6. Install directory ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
  61.  
  62. Specifies where the program and data files are to be stored. This directory 
  63. will be created if it does not currently exist. It must include a drive letter 
  64. and a fully qualified path name without the trailing slash. This directory can 
  65. not be the root directory of any drive.

  72. Displays informational messages to the user during an installation procedure. 
  73. Every line of text displayed reveals whether a specific install function 
  74. completed successfully or failed. This can assist the user in tracing 
  75. installation problems
