  7.      To Install SIO, unzip or place the distribution files into a directory
  8.      that is NOT named SIO and type INSTALL, followed by return.

  10.      I now have a basic web server at www.gwinn.com for SIO registration
  11.      and registered user updates.

  13.      This release of SIO (version 1.57) is largely due to a change of my
  14.      CompuServe ID (address) to 72662,3547.  However, one command line
  15.      option has been added, the plus (+) sign, which can be used instead of
  16.      the minus (-) sign.  If the plus sign is used, then Dos sessions are
  17.      prevented from altering the DTR signal.  This should help with those
  18.      having problems with Dos program disconnecting.  Also see HISTORY.TXT.

  20.      The SIO support BBS is available via Internet using VMODEM or Telnet. 
  21.      The Internet address is vmbbs.gwinn.com.  Note that you will NOT
  22.      normally be able to download using most telnet clients.  However,
  23.      using VMODEM and your favorite terminal program, you can download
  24.      using telnet connections.

  26.      Many users have reported problems when using the USR Sportsters.  One
  27.      user reported that the problems when away when he installed the latest
  28.      firmware upgrade from USR.  He also noted that one default setting
  29.      were changed and may be a clue.  The default of &S1 was changed to
  30.      &S0.
