  1. The Smalled HTML Extensions convert MLE based editors like Smalled, 
  2. ZED and e.exe (system editor) in full fletched HTML editors. 
  3.  
  4. If you like SMEHTM it can be registered through the Register button in
  5. the config page of the SMEHTM program. You may use SMEHTM free for a 
  6. trial period of 30 Days. For unregistered versions, the LINK page and 
  7. the hotkeys will be disabled after 40 days. Besides that a dialog box 
  8. will show for 10 seconds every time you start SMEHTM.

  10. SMEHTM is originaly written for Smalled but will work with other MLE
  11. based editors. If you like SMEHTM, you could consider buying it with
  12. Smalled in one package ($25 for this combined package).

  16. === INSTALLING SMEHTM ====
  17. SMEHTM is mainly 3 files an .EXE, a DLL and a .HLP file. You can copy
  18. the SMEHTM.EXE file to any place you like and start it from there.
  19. The DLL must be placed in the Libpath, preferably in OS2/DLL. If
  20. SMEHTM can't find the DLL, it won't start.

  22. The .HLP file must be in OS/2 help directory so that it can be found
  23. by all SMEHTM instances.

  25. There are two versions included. An exe for OS/2 2.xx and a smaller,
  26. faster exe file for WARP. The os2_2xx.zip contains the SMEHTM.exe for
  27. OS/2 2.xx and the warp.zip contains the SMEHTM.exe for warp.

  29. After you've copied the neccesary files, please read the help pages
  30. 'Using the Smalled HTML Extensions' and 'Config'. They contain
  31. information about completing the initial setting.

  70.           ====REGISTERING====
  71. After 40 days SMEHTM will shut down theLINK page and the hotkeys. To
  72. unlock it you need to register. To register, you first need to
  73. produce a personal key through the register page. Include this key if
  74. you register SMEHTM.

  76. You should use the purchase.exe program to order a registration key.
  77. Through this program you can order by E-mail or produce an order form
  78. to send by regular mail.
  79.  
  80. If you order, you will recieve a registration-key. With this key
  81. SMEHTM will unlock and the dialog box at startup won't be displayed.
  82. This also permits you to use future 1.xx versions. Future versions
  83. will see that you're registered and won't lockup. More help on this
  84. issue is included in the help attached to the register dialog.

  86. To obtain a registration key send the personal key along with the
  87. registration form.

  89. WARNING: Resetting the date may cause SMEHTM to lock up before your
  90. trial period is over!
