-
- If You Are using one the standard Comports/IRQ's, there is no need for
- this file.
-
- Otherwise....
-
- Use Your favorite ascii text editor to modify this file to your specs.
- Be sure to use all UPPER CASE letters.
- Valid Base Addresses must be in the range 000 to FFF hexidecimal.
- Valid IRQ's must be in the range IRQ2 to IRQ12
- The first line will correspond to COM5, the second, COM6 etc..
- regardless of what is typed for the COM#.
-
- ** The current settings match COM1 through COM4 where COM5 Matches COM1
- and COM6 matches COM2, COM7 matches COM3 etc..
-
- Example : With the current above data, You could specify COM6 in the
- Programs Configuration and it would initialize the Modem at
- Base Address 2F8 ( which is COM2 on Most Computers ) and
- would use IRQ3.
-
- Example : If You wish to run On COM3 with IRQ5, Modify the 3rd line
- to read : COM7 BASE 3E8 IRQ5
- (3E8 is the Base address for COM3)
- Then specify COM7 in the Program configuration.
