  2. You must go into iMMedit (S)etup iMMortal and set the maximum number
  3. of times a player can play a day. This was added to keep players from
  4. abusing the script feature of iMMortal. I would suggest 2 or 3...

  12. I would recommend this. It is the safest way to upgrade. Your users might
  13. get a little pissed, but I think it would be worth it..But read on first!

  15. 0. If you already ahve iMMortal then Wipe it. Don't forget to copy your
  16.    key and config file though. Immortal.cfg iMMortal.key
  17.  
  18. 1. To install immortal copy immortal.zip and install.bat into the directory
  19.    you wish to run immortal from.

  21. 2. Run the Install.bat utility.

  23. 3. After Running the Install.bat the editor will come up.
  24.    You need to choose (C)onfigure node and set the appropriate settings here
  25.    You need to choose (S)etup iMMortal and make any changes here!

  29. 4. Run iMMortal in local mode to create the first character. Enjoy the game.

  35.    Do NOT Forget to pass the Node number to iMMortal as a parameter!

  41. 1. You can use the update.bat file and it will NOT overwrite your data files 
  42.     or Run 1_5to1_7.EXE in your iMMortal Directory
  43. 2. Copy the iMMortal.zip and Install.bat into your iMMortal Directory
  44. 3. Run Install.bat
  45. 4. To setup the Inter-BBS feature you will need read the SYSOP.DOC

  53. 1. Run 1_1to1_5.exe  in the iMMortal Directory!

  57. 3. If you choose Not to overwrite your Current MAP.ANS file
  58.    {because you have modified it} the you will need to edit it
  59.    again and remove the Arena from it! iMMortal now places the Arena on
  60.    the map for you! This is done because the Arena has the ability to Teleport
  61.    from one location to another. See iMMedit for setting this feature!

  64. Note 1: If you have not modified any of the game files, then you can
  65.         just use the install.bat utility and overwrite all the files!
  66.         {This will be the easiest!}

  68. Note 2: If you have modified the game, the easiest way to install will be to
  69.         back up your modifications run Note 1 and then make your modifications
  70.         again.  But for completeness Note 3 will tell you exactly what you need
  71.         to do if you chose not to do it this way.

  73. Note 3: This is for those of you who have been playing around with iMMortal
  74.         and have changed everything! Unfortunately there will be no easy way
  75.         to do this, other then Unzip the files and only overwrite the ones
  76.         you do not want.. If you have modified the game, then you should know
  77.         what files you do not want top overwrite!

  101. Those of you with the beta can do one of two things..

  103. 1. Choose to install the whole thing.. Just overwrite all the files..
  104.    {You will NOT have to start a new game. No data files will be destroyed}

  106. 2. Copy all the EXE's and OVR's from the archive to their directory..
