  10. *** STANDARD INSTALLATION ***

  12. Follow this easy one-time installation procedure:
  13.  
  14. 1) Run the new INSTALL.EXE from Windows or at the DOS prompt type:
  15.    Win INSTALL.
  16.  
  17.    INSTALL will guide you along the installation process.  AceComm's
  18.    INSTALL is very simple and straight forward.  You will be presented
  19.    with a default directory for the install.  C:\ACEWIN
  20.  
  21.    You can accept the default directory or specify another directory
  22.    for the install.  You can cancel INSTALL at any time along the
  23.    way.  INSTALL does NOT copy or alter any files on your hard drive
  24.    out side of the target directory.  AceComm's INSTALL provides a
  25.    CLEAN install.
  26.  
  27.    INSTALL will initially add a new group to Program Manager.
  28.    You can access the AceComm program by double clicking on the
  29.    AceComm ICON.

  33. That's all there is installing AceComm.  When AceComm is activated
  34. for the first time, a few one-time only dialog boxes are
  35. displayed. AceComm initializes it's configuration files, and
  36. prompts you for a default serial port and modem.
