  14. NOTE: If you are reading this from the INSTALL program's initial window,
  15.           please skip down to 'Running INSTALL.EXE'

  20. FTP-It! can be installed from either of two sources
  21.  
  22.     - The product diskette, available from BMT Micro
  23.  
  24.     - The installation ZIP, ftpit22.exe, that you can download from many of
  25.          the popular FTP sites
  26.

  30. If installing from the product diskette
  31.  
  32.     - Insert the product diskette in drive A:
  33.  
  34.     - Open an OS/2 command window
  35.  
  36.     - Type A: and press ENTER
  37.  
  38.     - Type INSTALL and press ENTER
  39.  
  40.     - Skip down to 'Running INSTALL.EXE'
  41.  
  42.   NOTE: IT IS IMPORTANT to enter A: and INSTALL as SEPARATE COMMANDS
  43.           PLEASE DO NOT ENTER A:INSTALL

  48. If installing FTP-It! from the installation ZIP that has been downloaded
  49.   into the temporary directory C:\TEMP
  50.  
  51.     - Open an OS/2 command window
  52.  
  53.     - Type  C:  and press ENTER
  54.  
  55.     - Type  CD \TEMP  and press ENTER
  56.  
  57.     - Type  ftpit22  and press ENTER to extract the installation files
  58.  
  59.     - Type INSTALL and press ENTER

  61.     - Skip down to 'Running INSTALL.EXE'

  66. Running INSTALL.EXE

  68.   At this point you should be reading this from the INSTALL program window
  69.  
  70.   - Click 'Actions' on the menu bar and then click 'Install Product'
  71.  
  72.   - Wait for the 'Installation directory' window
  73.  
  74.   - Change the destination drive and/or directory if you want to
  75.  
  76.      NOTE: PLEASE don't change anything else on this window
  77.  
  78.   - Press ENTER
  79.  
  80.   - Verify the location of the installation files is correct, and
  81.      change it if necessary
  82.  
  83.   - Press ENTER and wait for installation to complete
  84.  
  85.   - Press and hold ALT and press F4 to close the installation program
