- Triple Shell is a DOS shell that will run on any machine in just about
- any environment. Orchard House is essentially the same program (see
- OH.DOC for differences), but requires a 386+ machine with 64K of
- extended memory available.
-
- These programs are designed to be simple to use yet complex of function,
- combining tasks that ordinarily must be done as separate steps under
- DOS into one quick operation. TS & OH are far more than simple
- hand holding programs for DOS dummies.
-
- If you are an experienced intuitive computer user, it is possible to
- load Triple Shell or Orchard House and just use it. All the hot
- keys are described briefly in help screens. The documentation is
- written mostly as a reference for specific questions and to let you
- know of capabilities you might not have suspected.
-
- For instance, these programs have modes of operation that can be more useful
- to one sort of activity than to others. In considering these modes, I suspect
- you will find it helpful to read the "Using Triple Shell" section of TS.DOC.
