  2. This is the OS/2 port of the Publication Quality Graphics package
  3. GLE, version 3.3h. GLE is written by Chris Pugmire, the OS/2 port
  4. has been made by Axel Rohde, who encouraged me to upload it here.
  5. The manual has been rewritten and extended by Stefan Mundt.

  8. The package was downloaded from tui.marc.cri.nz, /pub/gle/os2.

  16. The last file, gle33h3.zip, contains only an appendix to the gle 3.3h
  17. manual. You don't need it to use GLE, but it containes font listings
  18. and such (and I believe, some examples).  This is a PostScript file of
  19. about 11 MB of size and lives in tui.marc.cri.nz in pub/gle/manual.  I
  20. am glad I have it, but again, it is not absolutely essential.  The
  21. manual is contained in one of the first two files, also as PostScript
  22. file.

  24. This version installes and runs w/o a problem, and w/o tinkering
  25. required. The version 3.3g, which is still on hobbes and cdrom,
  26. needed quite some of that manual magic to work flawlessly, and it was also
  27. much slower than this one.
