  4.  InVircible is monitoring for modifications in the CMOS setup parameters
  5.  to insure that all changes to the hardware configuration reflect
  6.  properly in the rescue diskette. Especially important to monitor are
  7.  the changes to the hard disk setup parameters, stored in the CMOS.

  9.  The CMOS monitoring logic was modified to respond only to changes in
  10.  parameters connected with the hard drive(s), in order not to bother the
  11.  user with unimportant ones. At the same time, the option to restore the
  12.  setup parameters was removed from IVINIT and only the updating was
  13.  left. On-demand restoration of the CMOS parameters from backup can be
  14.  done as before, with ResQdisk, by pressing ^F3.

  16.  Version 6.10e has improved self protection from being attacked by a
  17.  path companion.

  19.  The revised IV printed manual was released concurrently with this
  20.  version. The printed manual is available from authorized IV agents.
