  1. FPK-Pascal version 0.6.2 does not include the installation program.
  2.  
  3. This is fixed now by these two files:
  4. fpkpas62.zip  new complete archive, now including all files
  5. fpkins62.zip  just the files that were missing previously
  6.  
  7. If you have already downloaded the old version of fpkpas62.zip
  8. you need only to add the files from the smaller archive fpkins62.zip.

  10. Both files are available on ftp.uni-freiburg.de in pub/pc/msdos/fpk-pascal

  13. The U.S. mirror currently still has the old version, this
  14. will be fixed on monday. Meanwhile you can download the partial
  15. archive from there and then get the (smaller) rest from here.
  16. The size of the old archive is 851487. If your archive is larger
  17. than this, then you already have the fixed version.
  18. The size of fpkins62.zip is only about 61000 bytes.

  21. Description of FPKINS62.ZIP:
  22.  
  23. This archive contains the files that were missing in FPKPAS62.ZIP.
  24. Among them is the INSTALL program.
  25.  
  26. Do install FPK-Pascal 0.6.2 follow these steps:
  27. - change to a new empty directory
  28. - unpack the archive FPKPAS62.ZIP into this directory
  29. - unpack FPKINS62.ZIP into the same directory
  30. - start INSTALL.EXE and press Alt-I, then Enter
  31. - choose what you want to install, then select OK.
  32. - write down the information that is displayed on the
  33.   screen after installation
  34.  
  35. Following these instructions should enable you
  36. to use the compiler. I'm very sorry for this error.
  37. Next time I get a new compiler version I will try
  38. it before making it available on my Web page.
