  5. The FindFile script included in the findfile.zip requires 32-bit Windows and WordPro 97 or WordPro Millennium Edition R9.0 or R9.5.

  11. The findfile.zip:

  13. Includes a script useful as a powerful search tool. Also included in the .zip are instructions for script installation, as well as a help file and other possibly necessary files.

The FindFile script searches through all Word Pro files, across multiple folders and drives, for a text string. Files containing text can be opened in WordPro and listed in a new document. This script provides numerous options for controlling where, what, and how to search. A progress indicator allows a search to be cancelled. Search results are presented in a resizable list from which multiple files can be opened.
