  3. The Anterior and slightly enlarged end of the olfactory tract, from which the 
  4. cranial nerves concerned with the sense of smell originate.

  6. There are two such olfactory bulbs with nerves crossing over between them.  
  7. When the olfactory bulbs are removed by surgery, the individual's sense of 
  8. smell is lost.
