  8.     Use METZEXIT to exit, restart or reboot Windows, or close all
  9. active METZ applications.  You can also automatically exit Windows,
  10. run a DOS application, then return to Windows.
  11.     METZEXIT uses command line parameters.  Running METZEXIT without
  12. any parameters will display the possible command line options.  The
  13. command line options are as follows:

  15.     /X     Exit Windows
  16.     /R     Restart Windows
  17.     /B     Reboot System
  18.     /E[drive:path\\application] {parameters}   -Exit Windows,
  19.            run DOS application, restart Windows
  20.     /M     Closes all METZ applications
  21.  
  22.     For example, to Exit Windows run "METZEXIT.EXE /X".  Currently
  23. running applications will ask you to save any changes for all of these
  24. commands.
  25.     METZEXIT attempts to close any active DOS Windows by sending
  26. the an EXIT command to the Window.  Only applications that recognize an
  27. EXIT command, or DOS Windows at the DOS prompt will close successfully.
  28. METZEXIT will give up if it can't close the DOS Windows.
  29.     When used with the METZ Scheduler, you can schedule METZEXIT to
  30. exit Windows.  If you are then running Windows from a batch file, the
  31. batch file can run applications that cannot be run while using Windows,
  32. such as disk defragmentation.
