  27.      This version of CLint++ is released as SHAREWARE.    This means that you
  28.      use it on a  try-before-you-buy basis. If you    find CLint useful,    you
  29.      must register within 30 days. We'll then send you the latest  version,
  30.      with more documentation, and you'll receive  news of updates and  full
  31.      technical support. R&D Associates regrets that it is unable to provide
  32.      full support for it's shareware products without registration.  Please
  33.      read the file LICENSE.TXT for more details.

  35.      CLint costs just  US$40 in the     USA or Canada,     and £25 in     the UK     or
  36.      Europe. Register today for an easier programming life. Please use    the
  37.      enclosed file ORDER.DOC.

  39.                                   INSTALLATION

  42.      To install this  version of CLint    insert the supplied     CLint disk     in
  43.      drive    (we assume    drive A: here),     then from File Manager choose File
  44.      Run, and in the dialog type:

  46.           A:SETUP
  47.  
  48.      SETUP is very easy to use.     Specify the  target directory,     select the
  49.      compiler you're using,  and specify where your compiler's header files
  50.      live - you'll be given  proposed names.  SETUP writes  (or  updates if
  51.      already  existing)     the  CLINT.CFG     file  according  to your  choices,
  52.      renaming any existing CLINT.CFG file as  CLINTOLD.CFG.     You can change
  53.      thse choices at any later time when running CLINT.

  55.      SETUP will     automatically update  your AUTOEXEC.BAT file  if required,
  56.      renaming  the    original  file as AUTOEXEC.OLD.     You may  refuse  SETUP
  57.      permission to change it,  in which case it writes the proposed changes
  58.      to AUTOEXEC.CLN in your root directory.

  60.      The registered version of CLint ships with libraries for all supported
  61.      compilers.     For ShareWare,     SETUP will construct the required compiler
  62.      specific CLB file for you.
