  8. The following cheats were discovered and tested on the Shareware 
  9. Version, but I should think they will work on both Registered and
  10. UnRegistered Versions.

  13. Command Line Cheat

  16. Start the game with one of the following options :-
  17.  
  18. RIPTIDE -START x           : Where x is the starting level
  19. RIPTIDE -MANDICH           : Runs the game with debug mode enabled
  20.

  22. With DEBUG MODE enabled you can use the following keys :-
  23.  
  24. P - Dumps screenshot to a file called RIPTIDE.PCX
  25. Z - Exits level and takes you to the next (giving you the level code)
  26.  
  27. Press ESC to see the menu and you'll have a new menu option called
  28. DEBUG which has various options on it.
  29.  
  30. F2 & F3 also have some effect but the outcome is unsure !

  37. Edit the RIPTIDE.EXE file and change the desired offsets to alter
  38. the way you play :-

  44. $65EE - Number Of Lives (normally set to 2)

  78. During the game press ESC to goto the menu.  Select "Password" in
  79. the "Game" option and enter LETSRIP!  A message should appear 
  80. saying that cheat mode is ON.

  82. Now that the cheat mode is ON, you can press any of the below keys
  83. to activate different cheats :-

  85.            A   =   Adds to air supply
  86.            S   =   Adds to shields
  87.            J   =   JASON probe 
  88.            H   =   JASON fire  (JASON shoots when you do)
  89.            R   =   Rapid fire  (Auto-fire)
  90.            F   =   Full fire   (largest projectile)
  91.            U   =   Top fire    (Upward shooting)
  92.            G   =   God mode    (Indestructibility)
