Using FASTCFG, you can configure Mwave to support the following DOS application types: :
- Games - Advanced
Audio - TeleGame - Advanced
Modem
Each application type corresponds to a specific application setup. The application setup includes sound, music, and modem settings.
Click Hardware to view your Mwave hardware settings. Use these settings to configure DOS games and communications applications. Q
Then click Audio to configure audio options for the application type you chose.
For general help, click on Help. To get help for any field, tab to that field and press F1. To exit without saving changes, click Cancel. To save changes and exit, click OK.

When you want to play Sound Blaster** games on your system, select Hardware to view the Sound Blaster Pro default settings. These settings should match the settings in the configuration of your game; if they don't, update the configuration of your game.

To play a game that supports General MIDI, select Advanced
Audio. Be sure to configure your game for Sound Blaster** Pro sound and General MIDI music. The default for games is usually Sound Blaster sound and Sound Blaster music.

To play your game interactively with another user on another system via a modem, select TeleGame. Sound Blaster** games and 14.4 kbps fax modem are enabled for DOS. j
Make sure that your game also supports telegame mode and remember to configure your game for telegaming.
When you select TeleGame, you can also run any DOS application that uses a 14.4 kbps modem or 14.4 kbps Class 2 fax. To run DOS applications that use modem transfer rates greater than 14.4 kbps, select Advanced
Modem.

Select QSound to enhance the quality of sound produced by your Sound Blaster** Pro application. Conventional stereo speakers can project sound into a fixed physical boundary; Qsound places sound outside of that boundary to produce a larger sound.
