  1. It was a real shock to learn that I had taken down 31 disks which would
  2. not install because V 4.3 was an Upgrade for Registered Users.  The clue
  3. to installation came when the startup screen said that if prior "qualifying"
  4. version had been deleted, only a copy of the qualifying would be requested
  5. during the installation.  I then tried 2 senarios using Disk 1 from MS Office
  6. V 4.2. 
  7.    1.  I simply started installation as normal using this Disk 1 from
  8.        MS Office v 4.2 and exited when it asked for Disk #2.  This was
  9.        sufficient to allow installation of MS Office v4.3 to proceed
  10.        normally.
  11.    2.  Without prior installation of Disk #1, I simply inserted
  12.        this Disk #1 when requested and again V 4.3 installed normally.

  14. Unfortunately, I was unable to install this HUGH proggy from hard disk
  15. using subst.. So load up on the floppies and then have fun..
