  1. American Heritage Dictionary Macros
  2.  
  3. Setup searches your system for word processors that you may use.  
  4. If you choose one that it cannot locate, you must run the word 
  5. processor and run the macro for that word processor to install 
  6. The Dictionary to a menu.  Run the word processor program and 
  7. follow the steps below.  
  8.  
  9. These instructions assume that you installed The American 
  10. Heritage Dictionary to the default directory, C:\AHDW.  If you 
  11. installed to a different directory, substitute that path in the 
  12. instructions.
  13.  
  14. Microsoft Word
  15.  
  16. Open the file C:\AHDW\INSTALAH.DOC.  Follow the instructions that 
  17. appear in the document.
  18.  
  19. Lotus Ami Pro
  20.  
  21. Double click on the "Install to AmiPro" icon in your American Heritage
  22. Dictionary program group.
  23. OR
  24. Run AmiPro, choose Tools/Macros/Playback, and enter C:\AHDW\INSTALAH.SMM
  25. for the macro file.

  27. WordPerfect 6.0
  28.  
  29. Double click on the "Install to Word Perfect 6" icon in your American Heritage
  30. Dictionary program group.
  31. OR
  32. Run WordPerfect 6.0, choose Tools/Macro/Play, and enter C:\AHDW\INSAHWP6.WCM for the 
  33. filename of the macro.

  35. To run The American Heritage Dictionary after it has been installed to your WordPerfect 6.0
  36. menus, choose Tools/Macro/runahd.wcm.
  37. To learn how to install The American Heritage Dictionary to your WordPerfect 6.0 Button Bar,
  38. read the file C:\AHDW\READWP6.WPD

  42. Choose Macro/Run Macro, and enter C:\AHDW\INSTALAH.WMC for the
  43. filename of the macro

  45. You will need to copy the file C:\AHDW\WSWAHD3.WMC to your WordStar 
  46. Macros directory
