ned Doc Info fields where Ami Pro passes to Notes information such as the number of pages or edits associated with a document. The third implementation is user-defined Doc Info fields where up to eight fields in Ami Pro could store information passed betwee
n Notes and Ami Pro. This information is stored at the overall document level, not within the body of the document. This final option is very necessary for applications, such as contract management, where you may want to store information, such as contract
status or region, with the document but not within the body of the document.

<:s><:#1200,9360>Let's use the example of creating our contracts with Ami Pro with the process being managed through Notes. Each time the document is opened I may want a different macro to run depending upon the "status" of the document. If, for instance, the document is in
"edit" mode, I may want Ami Pro to automatically turn on revision marking mode. If Notes indicates the document is "completed", maybe I want a print macro to automatically run.
