- "DATA on DISC" is not officially supported on the Apple Macintosh
- line of personal computers.
-
- "DATA on DISC" is prepared and assembled in a unix/pc environment
- which does not allow us to provide you with a usable copy of
- "Acrobat Search for CD-ROM (Macintosh version)" on the CD.
-
- Nevertheless, access to the documents contained on the "DATA on
- DISC" CD-ROM is possible with a MAC, provided that you have already
- installed on your system any one of the following software packages
- from Adobe Inc.
-
- Acrobat Reader (Version 2.0 or greater)
- =======================================
-
- Acrobat Reader is available at no charge from a number of
- sources. Check the Adobe Inc web site at :
-
- http::/www.adobe.com
-
- Restrictions: All data is available and readable, however
- the "Full Text Search" function will not be available.
-
- "Acrobat Search for CD-ROM (Version 2.1)"
- =========================================
-
- You cannot purchase this separately, but you may have
- already received it from another source.
-
- Restrictions: None
-
- "Acrobat Exchange (Version 2.0 or greater)"
- ===========================================
-
- You can purchase Acrobat Exchange from Adobe Inc., in which
- case you will be able not only to view the documents in
- "DATA on DISC", but also to produce your own.
-
- Restrictions: None
-
- If you have one of the applications above, you should start it
- and open the "welcome.pdf" file in the root directory of the CD-ROM.
-
- From there you can navigate the contents of "DATA on DISC" in the
- same manner as you would using a Windows or Unix platform.
